Let’s Talk
Coulum (b. 1996) is a visual artist who works with photography, video, computer graphics, installation, and body art. She grew up in Kingston, NY, and has always considered herself an artist. However, it wasn’t until she attended the New York Summer School of the Arts residency in Oswego, NY, in 2013 that she started exploring still photography.
In 2014, Coulum moved to New York City to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she earned her BFA in May 2018. Since then, she has focused on photography. In 2022, she worked at Three Kings Tattoo as a shop assassinate, where her interest in tattooing grew.
In 2024, Coulum began her tattoo apprenticeship under Anthony Pereira at Arcana Tattoo in Rutherford, NJ. She hopes to start tattooing clients in the spring of 2025.
She currently resides in Queens, NY with her fiancé, dog & 2 cats.
